A Call for Food Justice

With quinoa as an inter-scalar vehicle that travels through time and different landscapes, a larger story comes to light, one of a loss of power, of knowledge and of a connection with the lands we live in and the food we eat. The research project explores the possibility of a mapping and measuring system as it is through the production of knowledge and connecting our human-ness to that of others around the globe, that we truly shatter the curse that is super-modernity. Knowledge is power, it is agency, it is an immediate call to action and a mobilizing force par excellence.

At Platform 23 Architecture, we not only recognize this fact but aim to celebrate it through our work. Work that entails the production and disseminating of knowledge with you and others, creating agency, prompting a change in the way we experience and connect to ourselves and the bountiful world around us.
